2023 Kidding Schedule
Unless otherwise noted, doelings and bucklings are $400; wethers are $100 or two for $150. Reservations prior to kidding are taken on a first-come, first-served basis via our contact form, and Took a Leap Farm reserves the right to retain any kid born on the farm. There is no fee for a reservation until kids are born and selected, at which point a non-refundable fee of $100, payable online, is required to hold a kid (or two wethers) until pick-up.
With the exception of wethers and pet-quality doelings, all kids will be sold tattooed and registered with ADGA.
Our closed herd was tested for CAE, CL, Johne's, brucellosis, and tuberculosis in May 2021, with all animals negative.

Triskai wowed us with her frist-freshening udder - its attachment, teat size, and expressibility are all phenomenal., just like we've come to expect with daughters of Shel Silverstein. Fandango is quickly challenging our top girls for 1st place on the stand - and she's earned the title of Rob's favorite goat. No wonder, given that her dam, Sugar Moon V Fiala, is the littermate sister of Sugar Moon V Zuzanna and herself a 99th percentile Elite Doe! As a second freshener in 2022, she produced over half a gallon a day on once a day milking. We were so glad when Cahuita's owners offered her back to us...especially after losing her amazing sire, Sugar Moon V Waldo Pepper, last winter. While this will be Cahuita's second freshening, we don't know much about her previous production...although she comes from some very nice lines that produced a ton of milk for us in the past.
