We've determined that Fiala is Italian for "bratty" -- Fiala is always first to the gate to welcome (aka chew on) visitors. It's a good thing that she's proving to be a champ on the milk stand! Fi has had beautiful, fat teats and tremendous productivity on the stand, making her a dream to milk. Fiala's got top-notch genetics behind her -- in 2013, her dam, NC PromisedLand SIA Zena (LA 2012 VEEE90) milked 296 days on test with a total production of 1189 pounds, and her full sister from 2013, Sugar Moon V Zuzanna, has been breaking production records left and right at Amethyst Acres Farm.  To wit:  in 2017, Zuzanna had a test day peak of a record 9.1 pounds and a record 305 test day of 5.3 pounds and is one of only five Nigerians to ever milk over 1700 pounds in a 305 day lactation.  While we're not on milk test, Fiala definitely inherited some of this awesomeness!
